Chris Toplack (Founder)

He is the founder of The Signature Spot and a former media personality. Chris started his broadcasting career at age 18 as an on-air radio personality where he quickly became the youngest host in company history to secure his own morning show.

After an eventful career, he established himself as a voice-over artist working with regional and national companies. In the years that followed, Chris developed three sponsored podcasts while hosting and producing a show for another wrestling business. Chris has achieved over 500,000 combined downloads and views from his podcast ventures. In 2020, he reached the Top 65 Sports Podcasts in North America according to Chartable.

Chris has been a lifelong wrestling fan and is known to be somewhat of an encyclopedia among his peers. Despite having a young family and an established career as the Manager of Customer Training for a rapidly growing start-up based out in Vancouver and Silicon Valley along with being a Voice Over Artist, he still manages to consume many hours’ worth of content on a weekly basis.

Currently, Chris curates and manages all of the social media content while still contributing articles to the site. He also pitches many of the ideas to the team.

Kyle Scharf (Senior Contributor)

He is a published writer and frequent contributor to The Signature Spot. Kyle’s work has been published in national magazines and websites such as HorrorHound which can be seen by thousands of loyal readers.

Kyle joined The Signature Spot due to his undeniable love and vast knowledge of professional wrestling which has spanned well beyond 30 years. There are very few matches, promotions or wrestlers that Kyle isn’t familiar with.

Currently, he has been focusing on “what if?” and reimagined scenarios and wrestler profiles but will inevitably continue to expand upon his role on the website.
